Kids Can See Four Classic Rock Legends for Free During Three July Shows at DTE Energy Music Theatre

AUBURN HILLS, Mich., June 27 /PRNewswire/ -- Parents will be able to bring their children to see four of classic rock's biggest names and introduce their young ears to these musical giants for free during three special July shows at DTE Energy Music Theatre:

*  Paul Simon and Brian Wilson on Tuesday, July 3 at 7:30 p.m.

*  James Taylor & Band on Monday, July 23 at 7:30 p.m.

*  Rod Stewart on Wednesday, July 25 at 7:30 p.m.

Children 12 and under will receive a free lawn ticket at the DTE Energy Music Theatre Box Office on the day of each show when one ticket is purchased by an adult in any price range.  Persons already holding tickets for these shows can bring a child to take advantage of this offer by presenting their ticket at the DTE Energy Music Theatre Box Office on the day of the show. This offer is subject availability.

 Brian's Hershey, PA show on July 17, has been moved from the Stadium to the Star Pavillion. All tickets must be exchanged for an equivalent seat or refunded prior to the show date. Top priced tickets will be exchanged for equivalent top priced seats. The second priced tickets will become lawn seats or can be upgraded to reserved seats by paying the differential at the point of purchase or at the box office.

Like A Brother, the cd released last year by Beckley Lamm and Carl Wilson is being released in Japan  (RCA Victor - VICP-61387) on June 21. It will contain three bonus tracks not included on the original domestic release:
1- Standing At Your Door
2- Blue After All
3- In The Dark
It is not known at this time if any of these are songs written by Carl Wilson or if he is featured as the lead vocalist.

A version of "Hungry Heart" by Mike Love, John Stamos and others, recorded and reported here more than a year ago, has finally been released on a cd called  "Made In The U.S.A."  on the Purple Pyramid label. The cd, which is a tribute to Bruce Springsteen, also includes tracks featuring Beach Boys sidemen Phillip Bardowell and Gary Griffin. Listen to a Real Audio clip of Hungry Heart.

Paul Simon Invites Brian Wilson to Join Him on His 2001 Summer Tour Of The United States

BURBANK, Calif., April 27 /PRNewswire/ -- In what promises to be one of the most exciting concert events of the summer season 200l, singer/songwriter Paul Simon and his 11-piece band will kick-off a 28-city tour of the United States Saturday, June 9th, at the Gorge Amphitheatre in Seattle, Washington.
